    Inlet gasket

    Hi
Does anyone know how I can tell if my inlet gasket has gone without taking everything apart?
I am leaking boost, vacuum is down to 18inhg and I can hear air from somewhere, every pipe has been disconnected and checked ok...
Unless a turbo cam leak boost cos that's makin all sorts of rackets

Spray it with WD40 and see if the engine note changes (WD40 would get sucked in and burnt making the engine rev a bit more)

Also check for split or disconnected vacuum pipes.
The truth is always the truth even if you haven't realised it yet...
