    Astra Mk4 or Corsa C?? =S

hey guys, im kind of a newbie to all this so bear with me but, im stuck between either having a Corsa C SRi or an Astra Mk4 Sri both 1.8. my mate seems to think Vauxhall suck anyways but he reckons the Corsa has more potential than the Astra? but i love the look of the Astra.

any suggestions on which one has more potential and which i should pick?
    cheers in advance
    Lloyd

Depends on what you're after though. What is important to you out of a car etc.

Example - if space is a high priority then that rules out the Astra. If it's all about the acceleration, then the Corsa is quicker (from your given engines).

    I own a 1.8 Sri Astra myself.
Ok the gf doesn't own a 1.8 Corsa, she owns a 1.2 Corsa C, but if the 1.8 suffers from any of the issues the 1.2 seems to then i'd say Astra, even if it's a bit slower.

Personally, i'd opt Astra anyway as i'm not in to smaller cars.

depends what you want. the corsa is smaller and lighter (enough to reduce the 0-60 by 0.5s)
the downside in my opinion is that that corsa is a silly little fartarse car, while the astra is more spacious and comfortable. not to mention the fact that it looks wayyy cooler

al depends on your age aswell mate for insurance purposes as if your young the corsa is dearer than astra as every boy racer has the corsa.a would go for the astra as being a mechanic the astra seems alot better put together than the corsa does in my opinion as a fix alot more corsas than the astra.

Also looking between my Astra and the missuses Corsa C, The astra feels better put together, Drives better and seems to be made out of better quality materials. (Dash on the corsa seems to be a horrable pimply cheap plastic)

See what I did with my Astra on the link below!

Bare in mind the mk4 handles like a turd on a skate, so if you like racing around corners expect to crash lol

I owned a 1.2 corsa and now own a 1.8 mk4 astra. Imo the corsa had better handling and was really tunable. However the astra is more practical and more comfortable to drive. I also love to watch the expression on all the silly little chavs faces when they are sat on my bumper and they then get left in a cloud of dust but that is just me lol.
you gotta love it when you make the boys weep
