Mk4 Irmy grill and bonnet release pull

I've just fitted an Irmscher grill which I'm well chuffed with but the bonnet pull leave in the grill seems to be quite visible with the bonnet fully shut, especially the white arrow on the pull. I never noticed this with my standard grill. Anyone else got one of these (mine's the i-badge type) and notice the same ?

    rob,

what 99% of people do is cut the left hand side of the plastic pull off so it slides back again then.its still easy to grab hold of it to open the bonnet aswell when needed mate

i wasnt too bothered about it sticking out a little, the only annoying thing was the white arrow on it so i coloured it in with a black marker lol

A how-to. Should've known this site would have the answer.
Thanks to everyone who replied, will get on it shortly.

Big thanks to TurboChris for the grill though.

Fantastic, that's done although as the grill is totally black I might do as Woolley and black marker the arrow.
Trouble is now that's done I now need to get tinted front and rear lights, lightbrows and turbo alloys........after I rob the local bank.
