Says to fit dry but I always use a small bead of silicon now and not had one leak since.

Always use a smear of oil in the case of an oil filter , but in a cam cover use some gasket seal sparingly

u might need a new rocker cover as they are plastic and are prone to bow and not fit correctly

Seconded, had a mate do mine and he used a small bead of silicon before bolting the cover back down, had a leak at the bottom right of the cover as you look down, never had an issue since. Also people quickly dismiss the ebay gaskets as crap, i have one and never had an issue with it.

Make sure you also do the rubber o-rings when doing the gasket

The O rings won't actually cause a leak. Fit them dry and torque the bolts to 8Nm only, too tight and it can and will leak.
