    Cybox fitment to a MK4 x18xe1

Just getting ready to order my cybox exhaust for my car. I only need the centre section (Backbox is already stainless).

Just looking at the pictures and I can see that the fitment to the backbox is a flange fitment, also the front is a flange. Only thing is i need the sleeve for the front.

Looked closely at the picture of it and it looks like it joins together with a sleeve fitment, leaving the two ends as a flange!

Will they make one up to fit mine or do they all come with the flange at either end?

ALL non-turbo petrol centre sections are sleeve front

flange rears on early models and sleeve rears on later

    XE1 is obviously flange rear

therefore making yours the most common centre section (sleeve F, flange R)

Providing you order the correct ebay item then youll get the correct one - might want to ask the seller first to be on safe side

what ebay listing are u looking at??? maybe its a library picture and not the actual item?

    Or

As GeordieBandit says the X18XE1 is a sleeve fit to the cat and a flange fit to the backbox.

    Edit

Cybox ask you to leave a note with your car info when buying to ensure they send you the correct product.

I got this they sent me the centre silencer for free and it was a sleeve fit to the cat.
Cybox are great and really helpfull A++

The one I have been looking at is this one

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Emailed them and just awaiting a reply off them.

Don't want the straight through one as the backbox has a nice deep sound to it, Just want it to be slightly louder!

    All sorted!

In the picture it was showing a Vectra one, Which has the flange at both ends. The Astra has the sleeve at one end and the flange at the other!

Think i'll get one ordered on friday!
