    To be Honest

Hi i don't confess to be a knowall,

So, i have just sold my 54 reg coupe, and let the lad know all the minor faults,
Lol i would never make a hard salesman,

    Right,
The cooling fan will not come on when coming up to temperature,
but obviously cools down when running,
I have checked to see if it was the fan motor, but that works fine,

I hope it isn't the coolant ecu faulty but leaving that as a last resort,
    What else can i check??

    Your thaughts are welcome,

I hope to fix this as a favour for the lad who has still baught the car regardless,
    Honest
    Brian

as you look at the block its just at the side inbetween that and the expansion tank under the black plate if that makes sense!! just a guess mate because mine was causing the fans to come on when it was cold

Won't be the temp sensor as it's the same one for the guage inside and because you say it's up to temp I assume you know this by the internal guage

Maybe a blown fuse, quite possibly the coolant control module or maybe even then fan

I never thaught it could be a fuse,
The fan is ok,(i connected power to it,
so i will have a look at the fuse first,
then opt for the coolant module as a last resort,

    Thanks Folks

The new owner came round and said he renewed a fuse and all is working realy well,

    Thankyou for everyones help,
    Autosparks you were correct,
I would have found it eventually though , but saved a lot of time
