trying to convert my 52 plate astravan from manual to electric windows

Hi all thanks for taking a look, any advice will be apreciated.

So its been a bit of a short learning curve, Ive gone to my local (ish) 30 miles breakers yard found a astra sri with all electric, ive removed all the motors and guides complete, Once i got my door stripped, even though I sort advice from a main vauxhall dealer workshop and was advised that the correct loom should be in there, It wasnt no plugs for electric.

So off I trot again to my local breakers yard back to the sri to get the door looms, one of which took nearly 2 hrs due to being lumped in the middle of a yard and close to other heaps of shite, so i couldnt get the door open enough to get my hand round it to twist the connection off...... but persistance pervailed...... and a long flat blade screw driver !!

So chuffed thinking i got all the bits i need off i go home to start fit... get all the drivers door manual removed and re install the electric parts....
    didnt work!!!!! gutted

I now have closely inspected the inner door loom that connects to the door loom and it doesnt house the metal connections in the reciever sockets within the plug for powering the door loom......... gutted!!

How easy is it to change the inner door loom ???
If i go back to the yard retrieve the inner looms I will learn a little about how accessible they are or how difficult.... so i dont want to go and waste anymore time or diesel finding out

again i have a 52 plate astra envoy 1.7 dti anyone converted themselves with some advice,

    thanks in advance
    mike

p.s and I forgot to mention my bloody alternator has blown out on me on the way home.... fortunately only 1 mile form home .... but driving one of these vans with no power steering and 17 " team dynamics rims is no fun
and im £150 worse off in the morning!!!!

I'd forget about changing the interior loom as it connects in the passenger footwell and supplies everything under the carpets aswell as the back lights. That might tell you what a pain it will be to remove. You'll probably also find that you have to get one from a van too

Don't panic though because all you need to do it take 5 wires into each door. One earth, one permament live, one accessory live and two switch wires to connect the passenger switch in the drivers door to the passenher switch in the passenger door

No diagrams but why not get to the back of the fuse box and hook up the wires where they should go (if both pins are there) Earth can be taken from earth bolts in each footwell
