Well it still needs the wheel bearing done, but it ain't too bad at the moment, so get done at the mot next saturday. I had been starting to get a bit bored with the car and fancied going honda and what i had looked at before the astra, A civic type R.
Been a costly month with the car.....
First of all i sold my irmy grille to fund my new one. Once the new one arrived i discovered that the bonnet pull had been snapped by the previous owner and it wouldn't come out past the grille enough to release it. So one trip to vauxhall later and the new pull was ordered and fitted. Also took the opc badge off the grille and rebonded it on as they are prone to flying off and getting lost.
Job done. sticks a bit on the grille trim when the bonnet comes down so might have to file a slight bit away to allow the tab to fully retract.
Fancied some new graphics for my windows so had these made up....
As the winter is setting in now it is going to be getting one good deep clean, clayed, polished and sealed to protect it from the elements. It's garaged anyway but gives me peace of mind for when it has to be used.
So here she is now, last real update before it goes garage bound for the winter and will be only out occasionally. Few other plans will have to wait, pending mot this month, and buying parts has left me skint
Just a few quick ones while the weather held out. Taken on my crappy iphone
Gave it a good blast up the motorway, then back home wasting a good £30 of super unleaded, and any doubts i had with the car are gone. Was starting to look at Civic type R's in a funny way again, Boost soon got that thought out my head. Loving driving it again
