    help error code any1 know cdti 150

    a mate has a cdti 150 2005 and i have done the pedal test and seen error code 70304.

    has any1 got idea of what this is.

    id double check the code first - as its usually 6 digits and u ignore the last 2

    in this case however we can automatically assume there was a 0 in front giving 070304

    the 04 is just a reference so ignore that

    the first 4 are 0703 which gives P0703 = P0703 Torque Converter/Brake Switch B Circuit Malfunction


    sometimes this can refer to something else but first port of call must be the actual brake switch itself - above the pedal - even check the brake lights to see if one may be out.

    if the owner is having running problems or cruise aint working (if fitted) then it could be another problem

    EGR and DPF are always common problems on the CDTi - may be unrelated, but always good to make sure these are working and clean
