F.A.O folk running scangauge on z20let

whats folks normal running temp around town and on the motorway?

around town stop and starting mines is between 94-99 degress whilst on the gauge on the dash it shows around the 90 mark.

on the motorway sitting at a steady speed of 70mph the scangauge sits around 82-84 degrees and on the dash guage it will stay the same..

    does this sound right?

I would be interested in the inlet temps if you have them??

Mine can be 55-60 on hard boost! ... normally off boost around 29-32 IIRC.

Trying to work out what they are for a standard car and how I can low it.

You got a front mount? If not get one bought ASAP. That is like double my intake temps on high boost, FMIC is definitely the way forward for you if you havent got one already (which i can only presume you haven't).

Yeah, I have a front mount .... it is in my back room!

Planning on fitting it, at some point.

    Cheers for the info though.

Get it wacked on mate, made a world of difference to my coupe and wasn't that hard to fit. Guy that mapped it was well impressed with the intake temps so should sort your high readings.
