IDS+ is it possible to deactivate

    Hi,
i hope some of the gurus here can help answer my questions.
    i own a 04 Astra H(Z20LER) 5DR, equipped with IDS+ with CDC.
My current shock absorbers are not in good conditions, so due for change.
i am thinking of replacing with after market type, but unable to find one with that suits IDS+.

    My questions are
1)can i just unplugged the socket from the shock absorber?( will the "SPORTS PROGRAMME" be affected?)

2)is it possible just to turn off this function from the ECU?

3)or is there any other alternatives?(besides stock absorber)

any suggestion or help greatly appreciated

If you just unplug it you'll have an error light.

I got mine switched off/removed by Tech 2 from the dealer when I put a set of Bilsteins on.

    Hi,
can you remember how to unplug the socket from the absorber, i tried but it dosen't seem to come off.
I'm trying to bypass it as my dealer said it is not possible to turn it off(obviously they are not interested or as an agent they are not allow to do that)
    i've attach a pic.
