Magnex are usually quite quiet systems, well what i have experienced with them anyway. Quite subtle, but there a lot more cheaper alternatives out there.

Powerflow are only as good as the supplier who make and fit them. Mine was shite and it produced a noise like a skeleton having a ham shank in a biscuit tin on the overrun. Supplier blamed the car and refused to sort it.

I got rid of it and got a Remus system instead. The centre section has no silencer, but the backbox is well baffled, so the 2 together produces a nice sound, but not too loud. You cant normally hear it inside the car.

A Remus centre with an Irmscher back box produces a similar sound.

haha i had an advisory on my exhaust leaking slightly on the front section and also rear section needed replacing. so im in the same boat as you wanting a new exhaust system.
my mate had a powerflow system on his seat leon 1.8 20v n it was really nice but on the motorway anything after 90mph n the car vibrated like mad and you couldnt hear each other talk.
Long life apparantly are a good branch who make exhausts.

Many on here recommend either GT3 or Cybox via eBay. If you go for a silenced centre section then noise is kept subtle.
