    oil for my z20let

whats the correct oil for my z20let?

id say its fairly modified so i want to protect and prolong the life of the engine, also i go to work about 2 miles away at 5am when its very cold so te engine is ran cold and doesnt get to warm up very much, so this needs to be brought into consideration.

    thanks matt

I use 10w/40 semi synthetic. Heard the thinner oil is more likely to pass the seals easier. But if you decide on 5/40 vauxhall are doing a deal at the moment, i saw it when i was in for a bonnet release tab last week.

Sure the 5L bottle is around £11-12, and the 10/40 is around the £18 mark. Might be a local deal but maybe nationwide. This was the Stirling branch up in Scotland if they ask

Mobil1 fully synth is in mine at the moment. It's good stuff but not cheap.

Tony, this doesn't apply to me, but could you give a bit more of an explanation in order that the poster and possibly others can possibly learn the reasons why.
