    17 Y.O with Astra 1.4/1.6 8v

as you can tell I haven't got a car yet, let alone am I 17 but its soon enough! How much should I expect to pay and to what lengths should I go to even make it cheaper? Got a quote of 2.5k with astra 1.6 and full gsi body kit with alloys and exhaust system with me as main driver, will this be the cheapest i can find? i'm not going to be a boy racer, i'm probably just what most people call a poser in the car. It'll be like my work of art!

That wouldn't be far off im afraid, my first car was a 1.4 Saxo Furio, 2001 and that was £1800, use all the search engines, confused.com, moneysupermarket etc, and ring up Adrian Flux & Direct Line as they're not on price comparison sites

    Good luck!

Aviva are the cheapest atm, with a 1.6 8v Astra MK4 3 Door + GSi Spoiler, alloys and exhaust has come to 1700. Awesome find!

IMO I probably wouldn't declare mods like alloys and exhaust or even a spoiler.

But hey - that's just me?

Go for a astra with factory fitted alloys spoiler etc. I was paying £1600 for my 2002 astra sxi 1.6 16v when I had just turned 18 and I had a insurance claim against me. Try admiral always been good for me.
