    1.9 cdti sri lowering

Hi guys and girls. I'm new to the site but think it's awesome already. I currently have a mk4 Sri turbo running 250 bhp but am selling it as I've just bought a white 1.9 cdti sri. The thing I needed help with is the suspension set up on the diesel. At the moment on my mk4 I have lowered it by 50 mm on the front and 30 mm on the back. I want to lower the diesel but been told 30 mm is the most I can lowering it on springs and as it's the sri it means the springs will only lower the car by about 20 mm. I really want it to sit just above the tyres. Any help would be brilliant as I don't wanna fit the wrong springs. Thanks people

eibach do 40mm springs, although im sure your aware this reduces the life of your shocks considerably,

search eaby you can also get 35mm springs

Thurlby took a 1.9cdti sri and lowered it 35mm and that sits just above the rims (seearch for astra h 88 and you will find pics

You should be fine with just springs if you go 30/30, you can always upgrade the shocks to sports ones at a later date.

Search for pics you will find loads mate.
