what cloths or other items do you guys find the best to use ?
I use 2 big microfibre cloths, one for getting the majority of the water off and the other to finish.
good question, i was thinking this yesterday
i use Megs water magnet
but are there any better methods of doing it?
or a better towl i can buy?

i use a dur wonder drying towel you can dry a car without every ringing it out. then a clean microfibre cloth to dry excess
Dri u kwik waffle towels or autosmart waffle towels ( almost identical ) barely feel wet even after drying a large saloon.
For a more gentle/soft approach I swear by the uber towels from either serious performance or i4detailing, thickest and softest towel out, better than the miracle dryer towels by far.
I use Sonus Ultimate Detailing Towels, are around £10 from CYC and come in a pack of 2. Combined with some spray on DemonShine from Halfords, helps dry black really well without streaking at all.
Drying towels -
Tone .... combination works well on black ..... hint hint!
Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall
