    drying cars

    what cloths or other items do you guys find the best to use ?
    Look great on your astra gsi, vectra or Astra mk 5
    Vectra Vxr Style Alloy Wheels

    I use 2 big microfibre cloths, one for getting the majority of the water off and the other to finish.

    good question, i was thinking this yesterday

    i use Megs water magnet

    but are there any better methods of doing it?

    or a better towl i can buy?

    i use a dur wonder drying towel you can dry a car without every ringing it out. then a clean microfibre cloth to dry excess

    Dri u kwik waffle towels or autosmart waffle towels ( almost identical ) barely feel wet even after drying a large saloon.
    For a more gentle/soft approach I swear by the uber towels from either serious performance or i4detailing, thickest and softest towel out, better than the miracle dryer towels by far.

    I use Sonus Ultimate Detailing Towels, are around £10 from CYC and come in a pack of 2. Combined with some spray on DemonShine from Halfords, helps dry black really well without streaking at all.

    my parents have also asked me what i want for xmas with a budget of £130 (same as my sister) im thinking of getting a machine polisher and some decend pads/polish

    two good quality drying towels as said(i use sonus der wunder),along with a couple of sprays on each panel of red mist...when i first tried this method i was just amazed!!
