Mate you should have a crack yourself it's really not that hard at all.
Check my thread just below- I haven't done the roof just the chrome strip, mirrors and the interior, it's a piece of piss with a heatgun/hairdrier.

How much would I need to wrap the rear boot strip and the front grille of a mk4?

There are loads of different variants but not sure what size sheet to buy.

    Thanks

dude your digging your pockets very deep.....i wrap for a living and no its not just an easy to do thing....ive had problems on 2 vauxhalls now where the laquer off the paint, peeled clean because it was not correctly installed, you end up with a ****d roof and piece of wrap.

on the other hand, alot of wrapping goes smooth... ok im saying the roof is a doddle but if he takes his time and gets a hand off a mate it should be fine..

every mod has horror stories but we are talking minority here..

not when you are using a big sheet of carbon wrap...any other wrap fair enough...but the way the carbon wrap is made with the texture, it can easily split.....when lifting off while trying to rectify an error or re lifting to re apply.

well im not going to tell you your job mate as you say its what you do for a living but the genuine 3M di-noc stuff i have used was like steel, not even a raging bull could poke a hole in it, gentle heat and it would be workable??

like i said, its your field so you know the ropes...
