Am i classed as at fault?

Going to claim soon but not sure how to write it down for renewal

    short story is,

Approach roundabout turning right, slow significantly due to lorry daawdling about on inside lane,

enter roundabout and begin to navigate it,

as im exiting the roundabout, at normal speeds, probably no more than 25mph at this point although i wasnt looking at the speedo,

tail wips out, i over correct and slide sideways into a lampost

smashing the rear door and sill,................................

I was the only person involved, but cannot explain how it actually happened, i jsut dont know

is this still my fault or "just one of those things?"

I would write it down and tell just like you done here. regardless if it was your fault or not the insurance companies see it as you've been in an accident and you are a risk to them!
Be an optimist - at least until they start moving animals in pairs to Cape Canaveral.
