    boost guage?

Hi, got an astra gsi & my mate has got a boost guage he doesnt use in picture below & wants £15 for it. Is this make any good? Also does it plumb into the vacuum to the fpr where my dump valve is connected? Sorry if its a stupid question. Thanks

not the vac pipe buddy that triggers the dump valve with a vac when the throttle is shut, you will need to plumb it into the pipe that feeds the intake manifold from the turbo/intercooler the small pipe that comes from the turbo to the boost control solinoid could be tee'd into before it goes to the wastegate actuator
    hope this helps

You install a T piece from the FPR

Never heard of Revtec - little different having a guage that goes up 1.5 psi at a time

take steves advice and ignore it all.

you tee it in to the vac line from the fpr, not the line that runs to the dump valve

i NEVER said the dump valve if you care to read my post, i suggested the feed from the turbo (pressure) NOT a vac line!

the feed to the fuel pressure reg is a pressure pipe anyway so if thats the nearest to the guage then that makes complete sense!
