Anyone heard of Thurlby Motors in Lincolnshire?

hey guys im new to this site and im looking to get my self an Astra 1.9 cdti sri 150. any opinions would be helpful!! Also i was looking around on the internet and heard of a place called Thurlby motors in lincolnshire who offer a plug and drive ECU modifier boosting bhp from 150-202bhp. just wanted to know if anyone has tried these? and your views on it? eg: how good is it, the price and weather it strains too much on the standard turbo???? As this could be my first to buy when i get a astra cheers for your time

    Firstly, welcome to the club

Thurlby have got a good reputation across the Vauxhall scene.

They're responsible for the mk5 888CDTi and the T9, amongst other special editions. the 888CDTi uses the ecu modifier you're on about, and it's a cracking piece of kit. DTUK also produce a box that does the same.

taking the 150 CDTi to 200 is becoming quite a common mod, and I've not heard many bad things about it at all.

the 888 had a eds remap off top of my head from 888
a remap is all ways better on your own car
if its a company car then stick a box on

I am seeing a lot of 1.9's that had a box on now needing new inlet manifolds due to the soot killing the flaps
