I'd drill out, re tap and use the appropriate helicoil to return to the original thread size... Well in an ideal world, in reality I'd probably just bodge it with superglue... Lol...
N.b. any opinitons expressed above should be ignored and considered 'ramblings', under no circumstances should they be relied upon...

Take it to a machinist place, i have one on my doorstep, and they always come up trumps usually for a back hander lol

which one has snapped? iirc theres one stud on the head you can get away with snapping!

but as above... buy a helicoil kit to suit the original thread! i've done this many times b4

I had the same issue bud, drill it out, just be carefull when putting the helicoil in, the head is very very soft, trust me found out the hard way.

thanks guys,i think its flush as the bit that come out had a small amount of thread but not sure as i havnt taken turbo off yet.i think this stud needs doing and i would like it done anyway but if im looking at the turbo its the stud on the top to the right.i spoke to a machanic and he said to bring it to him and he will sort it for me and he said they are common to snap.he said he will drill in the centre then tap a tourqe in and undo.i suppose thats worth ago before drilling totally out a?

my top left was snapped but was below the surface so i did a full front end strip down and took all the head off down to the pistons was worth every penny as i know my engine inside out. and its squeeky clean and running like a dream

I snapped a stud in mine a few weeks ago, it was much easier to just take the turbo off and weld a nut onto the end of the snapped stud (mine was flush to the head) and with the heat of the welder expanding and contracting quickly it unscrewed with my fingers. so much easier.
