    some different insurance questions

mine is just up for renewal and ive been with flexi-bell for a few years, i dont mind who im with i just like to get it cheaper lol

anyway, in august, my car was parked up outside my work and was reversed into by a hgv

he game me his details, his insurance/ company paid for everything

i kept my NCB and didnt pay a penny

why do i have to declare it as happening even though i wasnt even in the car? its put my premium up and its annoying tbh, every search engine asks if youve had a crash regardless of fault

ive been quoted the same price of £671 as last year

are flux the way forward? ive heard people raving on about them, but i once did a quote and it was dearer than all of the other quotes i had

    reccomendations?

To be honest the reason they want you to declare it is because they feel that once you've had a bump your fault or not, your more liable to be hit again. I'd try Adrian Flux Im switching to them as soon as I can and if you speak to Dan or mention your on from an owners club they can give a discount up to 15% I believe. Glad to hear the HGV thing got sorted quick, mate of mine got hit and it was a foreign driver and it took 3 years for the money to be paid.

One of the main reasons why I've never tried them. I hate giving my real details before I can get a quote. That's why it's mainly between gocompare.com , confused.com and tesco.com for me.
FAMILY SHED: VAUXHALL ASTRA 2.2 SRI
    ROAD MISSLE: HONDA CBR1000RR FIREBLADE

Same as, I cannot be bothered to ring them or for them to ring me and when I actually did get a quote from them they were NOWHERE near the mark!

So AD and Direct line for me can go FIST themselves!

Getting good quotes at the moment on comparethemarket.com

E-car done a good quote for the other half, i am working out around £700 odds for the gsi currently, and after reading everyone else's quotes that seems a big high given my circumstances. I am with sky insurance using highway as the underwriters. So will be changing shortly. Nothing for loyalty these days. So come renewal i will be hitting the comparison sites also

The other half is saving around £190 on last year's price, £260 on her renewal price this time around. Shop around for sure, it definitely pays off

    yeah, i will do, cheers

ive once rang flux and it was well off the money aswell

seems they only offer discounts and good savings if your over 40 with a bonkers skyline

or you work for a magazine and get it for free aslong as you give them publicity and recommend them

Aviva quoted me £1300 full comp (18 1 years no claims with parent named) my second lowest quote was £2200 and some up to £8000!

I've heard there bad for claims though
