    New tints and alloys!

The car is starting to take shape now, at last!! Went to Tinted Vision yesterday and wrapped up my alloys today followed by a much needed clean all over

It's been awkward to take pictures because the sun is directly on the car at the moment and there's not a cloud in the sky to cover it. They don't do it justice nor the shine of the flakes of the paint, so here it is:

Tried to get a picture of the shine but my phone doesn't do good focus:

Desperately needs colour coding now and I've got more bits and bobs here ready to put on soon

Yeah I was thinking that as soon as they went on. When these wear out I'll go for higher profile. Lowering springs are on my Xmas list but not sure how low to go, 30 or 40mm. one of the guys there said to be careful when lowering because his wishbones kept snapping...or is that just a Ford thing?

Go for 40mm, and when its colour coded will look great. Just get some back to black in the meantime to keep the grey away. though that can make things more awkward before they get sprayed.

Yeah, Daz tried this new stuff on it and it only lasted 2 days, so I'm going to leave it now until I colour code them.

Are these ok for springs? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JAMEX-Suspensi...ht_4518wt_1139

Thats a Ford thing mate, all my Fords have had shiz wishbones.... a mk6 Escort i had went through 6 wishbones in 4 months on standard springs!!!!!!!!!!

I THINK my mk4 hatch is on 60mm springs mate & its fine, the rides not as harsh as expected but holds the road spot on! Go for at least 40mm imo

    Like the wheels too mate
