    Ferrari Thrill Day

Hi im new here and after some help please.

Its my boyfriends birthday this month and im trying to find him a birthday present.

I have come across a ferrari thrill day which is on offer its £60.

This is what it says about the experience....

About the experience: Start off with a short briefing from your qualified instructor, who will talk you through track driving techniques. Next your instructor will drive you round the circuit in a sports saloon for approximately two miles of familiarisation laps. Then you'll drive the Ferrari 360 for six miles in total, before finishing with a question and answer session and collecting your certificate

If your girlfriend bought you this would you be happy? Do you think its a good birthday present?

    Thanks Steph

    Welcome to AOC

    Interesting first question on here

I'd be pretty chuffed with that for a Birthday present.

Was a very good present, although light rain ruined it a little
How many days is it valid for or do you book a day straight away?

It says its valid for 10 months from when you but the voucher, but i want to try and book him in to do it on his actual birthday or the day after im hoping. It says you can either do it at Three Sisters track or Rockingham which is best?

remember there is usually an optional insurance waiver to be paid on the day, averages around 20 quid iirc. either that or a rediculous excess if the worst happens

Stepphy welcome to the AOC... I had a Ferrari Thrill day bought for me by my Partner which I did at Donnington Park. There was a choice of The Ferrari Modena or the 355 Spider. I absolutely enjoyed it. One of the best presents she couldv'e ever given me... There was an option to get an in car DVD showing your driving ability...

Three Sisters is a fairly small track at Ashton, near Wigan. It may still have the Aintree Racing Drivers School there and it's a top quality Kart track, but for Ferrari rides? bit small, I would say.

Rockingham is much bigger and is in Northampton, so the journey to either from Birmingham may be your deciding issue.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

    Richard
