    Going Turbo?

My Astra Gsi has started making a sort of whistling/whining noise after 3500 revs, when boosting?

Changed the flexi this morning and the garage said at first it could be that, a smaller one restricting it? But the garage that done the flexi said it would be making that whistling noise all throughout the revs and not just when boosting.

Sound like i need a new turbo? through the EML on, on my way home aswell!

The whistling doesn't necessarily mean a gubbed tubby. I know you can hear the air spooling through mine as it's spooling up. Mine is still going strong.

A bit like the turbo chatter debate, some say it's bad for the turbo, but i know someone who has a brand new turbo and the turkey noise is great
