    Compressor and spray gun query

    Could anyone telll me how much a bundle could be.

    just some gen info on what are better.
    i dont even know wat litre compressor i would need.
    So Far ZLEH, M32, FMIC, Top Hat, CDTi box, Thermobolic intake gasket, De cat, alloy rad, GSi bumper, Coilovers not long off a map now lol

    why a gravity fed iv always wondered the advantage over air fed

    agreed! i just got a suction feed gun with a bundle from halfrauds.
    even thought the finish i got with it was good the gravity feed would be easier to use.
    although suction feed are easier to rest on the floor wen you waiting for coats to dry!

    It all depends what you want it for.

    Cheap = Wheels, bump strips, handles, small things

    Expensive = Like devilbliss, sata etc for everthing but for the more experienced people.

    this will be the first iv ever bought

    Id go for a cheap one.....

    Any decent sized compressor will do... I cant remember what I have ill have a look when i get home and ill post up.

    If I was you id practice on something shit, 'cause its not as easy as it looks..

    Make sure you :

    Dont go too close - for runs
    Dont go too far - for dryness
    Dont go too Fast - for dryness
    Dont go to slow - for runs
    Dont do a bow shape as you spray as the paint will be uneven
    Dont flick off too much as for over spray

    Just go about 6-9inches from the surface and just be careful and take your time dont rush the job!

    thanks lewis tbh im wanting one to brush up on an old skill. i did it in college when i was 17 and loved it. iv dont body repairs in my own time on camp for mates but used cans. came out great but now i wanna do bigger stuff. like my coupe. as i wanna go down the euro scene.

    im rele umming and arring about weather to try it or not but it seems like about 600 pound to start up with equipment but to respray a car is like 1500 so seems like a logical step to me was just wondering is it rele that hard or with practice can you get there sorry to steal your thread just rele wanted to know cheers
