    1.9 CDTI differences

    Hi all

I'm looking at getting an Astra 1.9CDTI - Are there any simple differences from which you can tell the difference between the 120 & 150bhp models?

    Cheers

Oil filler on the 120bhp is on the left but on the right on the 150 bhp engine.

    120 bhp:

    150 bhp:

the 120 only has 120bhp and the 150 has 150 bhp so its noticeably quicker and can map it to 200bhp easily

Thanks for all the advice. Can anyone also give me any advice on what to look for when buying? or is there a thread anywhere on the forum? I've heard the clutches are not the best but how long do they tend to last? and any other things to bear in mind?

    Cheers

That's not true. Both 120 and 150 came in 16v

You are right. The 150 is the only one i'd get but I just want to know a little more before deciding to get that or a different car & trying to work out what age/mileage to buy.

Also, apart from different wheels, what else does the Ex Pack contain that is different to the standard SRI?
