    de-badging problems??

I am looking to de-badge the rear either today or tomorrow and was wondering what possible problems i could face. Is it possible that the paint cound be faded and not flend in? Silly things like that.

Use a hairdrier to soften the glue, or hot watter. there will be glue rezidue, so use some rubbing compound to get that of, and bang, job done. If you have a astra G (a.k.a. mk4) DONT remove the griffin badge on the middle of the boot unless you are planning to fill the 2 holes underneth it.

man up and pull them off!

no need to worry about faded paint - unless ur car is flame pink and been stood in the glaring sunshine all its life!!!!

pull em off, be a girl and use a hairdryer or hot water if u want, clean up the glue residue with white spirit, turps or petrol, then polish the panel with some good quality stuff like AG SRP

    done

stand back admire ur work for a split second....then get on with life

Tried to take mine of and the glue did not move with hot water or a hairdryer.

The two holes in the back are nothing compared to the giant splotches of glue.
    I've paid and displayed...

    is the glue stilll there?
kettle of boiling water, rub it hard with a dry cloth to flatten out the adhesive and get the rest off with AG tar remover

Possible problems? Scratching your paint is one. It happened to me & has happened to plenty of others on here too.
