    Cool best way to fix pressed number plates

    ive just bought a set of pressed plates for my car and im so happy with them.
    i dont realy want to drill them and make them look messy .
    whats the best way to mount them to my car so they look clean??
    any pics will be a gert help 2
    i have a 02 sri with the prodrive sri-t kit fitted.

    Plate holders, double sided sticky tape, velcro ... blu tac .... what ever you want to use.
    Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall

    my rears held on with industrial 2 sided tape and my front because i didnt want to bend the plate is held on with a reg surround

    same here but I used normal number plate pads on the rear

    i bought irmscher plate holders after the double sided body tape i used came off within 24hrs. plus it makes the plates easier to change come mot time

    Did you de grease. The surface before putting it on though ?

    Got some strong double sided tape from the local Window trade centre. Strong as hell. Sticks like sh1t to a blanket

    You need the 1mmx10mm stuff as the other stuff is too thick and the plate sticks out too much

    i like the ideal of tapeing them on but dont want them to fall off and when i need to change a panel or plate dont want to damage them.
    how do the plate holders work?

    I taped my "not so police friendly" ones on. don't make the mistake i did and run a length right round the whole plate, when you gotta take them off you gotta bend them off!

    A small strip either side did me fine. I found the pads crap, but the stuff on a roll worked great for me. I know it's basically the same, go figure...
