    LED Conversion Problem!

    Hi guys, need some help
Am having some issues swapping the fan control lights over to LEDs, only got one in and seems to light the numbers green although the LED was shining white when tested. Is there some filter I need to remove? Also am I right in thinking that there are only two lights in the fan/heater controls that need to be changed? Thanks

MFD and heater controls usually have an orange diffuser in. Unless you remove the MFD one and replace it with a white diffuser you'll be stuck, the heater dial diffuser (if fitted) can't be removed, it needs to be changed for a heater dial unit without the orange diffuser fitted, same for the heater dials and the aircon etc. buttins, they often have built-in orange diffusers.

Oh fail, I put this in the mk1/2/3 electrical section instead of mk4. If a mod could move it that would be much appreciated.

Yeah I knew the MFD has an orange diffuser post 2002 ish, had no idea about the heater control one though. Thanks again nry, Il be sourcing one tomorrow!
