    red top conversion in a mk4

    am think of puting a 2.0 16 red top in to my astra mk4 and i was wondering how hard is the conversion and has anyone done it b4 and wat do i need ect and i wanting to keep it to 4 stud so which brakes would i need i was thinking of geting some gsi 308mm disk and pads and redrilling them to four stud waod that b such a good idear to do that ????????

    If you want to retain the 4 studs mate, best option, get some SRI calipers and carriers, and get some Vaxhall Meriva discs, 280mm would be plenty for a 2.0 16v non turb.

    Will you be modding the red top? Given they can see silly bhp, I'd go for 308's myself, just need the calipers, carriers and hub carriers from a 5-stud 308mm disc, then some re-drilled discs.

    me plan is that i just want to put the redtop in not going to remap and stuff lyk il b putting a power cap on thats it but i want to keep it to four stud coz i dont want o go wasting money on more wheels if u get wat i mean bhp wise am looking for a sensable 150 bhp which is standard for red top if its that il b happy

    i wouldnt mind putting a redtop in my astra but its too much effort!.. do u know anyone that has done it? eg, auto biography ?

    my m8 did a red top conversoin in his mk4 but he turbo it and he was pushing 320bhp in was super fast
