    i need to change my cv joint help please

    as above my cv joint has a lovely rattel but its the gearbox one on the passengers side has any1 changed theres and how and also where did u get one its on a mk 4GSi the right gearbox

    I had the same thing happen on my gsi mate, I just took mine to Vauxhall, paid £155, headache begone.
    Bare in mind though, if you decide to buy new, you cant buy just the cv joint on its own. You have to buy the whole near side drive shaft. The cv boots come with it though to replace so you wont have to shell out extra for them.

    you can get the joints off? just gotta chisel the collar off to ping the circlip out. then tap it off

    When i took all the grease of mine i couldn't find a clip to take off, it looked asif they were machined on...

    You got pics taking one off as id love to stop mine clicking before its back on the road.

    Nyzrox ill pop down and do it if i get time, theres a small circlip, well on all the ones ive done anyway lol

    Yea il get it off and have a look myself again mate id love it normal for when its back on the road.

    Joe sourced another gsi bumper, better condition then my old one

    Also, whats prodrive rear worth, PM me or il text you if i remember also might have a shell going if you want it.
