My VXR turbo turned up today so Im going to go and have a bash at fitting it. Should be a good distraction from my tonsilitis

the reason people started to (and still do) use them is mainly because they are so much cheaper than a LET turbos. I got that for 434 +vat. The cheapest LET one I could find was 660 + vat. Some people also claim that they are stronget than the LET turbo. Im still unsure on that but most of the evidence points towards them being a better turbo than the standard LET one
I see more about money than performance then, making more sense now
The manifold is stronger and less likely to crack.
The oil feeds need switching over IIRC, but I can not remember exactly how.
