    NEw turbo is here

My VXR turbo turned up today so Im going to go and have a bash at fitting it. Should be a good distraction from my tonsilitis

It would definitely go better with an engine in it

the reason people started to (and still do) use them is mainly because they are so much cheaper than a LET turbos. I got that for 434 +vat. The cheapest LET one I could find was 660 + vat. Some people also claim that they are stronget than the LET turbo. Im still unsure on that but most of the evidence points towards them being a better turbo than the standard LET one

The manifold is stronger and less likely to crack.

The oil feeds need switching over IIRC, but I can not remember exactly how.

You are probably using the guide, but here is a link anyway...

I will do but not right now as it hasn't turned up yet.

How far does it need wound again? Is it 4/5 threads showing at the end or is it less?
It would definitely go better with an engine in it

As far as the actuator, you need to "zero" it. It is pretty easy to do, once fitted. But IMO it tends to be 3-4 turns left on it.
