    50w too bright?

    Hey all basicaslly im looking to buy a hid kit. Would a 50w kit be too bright, as alot of people only sell 35w but i have found a 50w kit which i am prepared to purchase???

    hi there i bought a kit from hid-direct and they were 55 watt hids and they are super bright, and the light is very penertrating got the 8000 kelvin bulbs with are whitey blue, passed the mot fine, the mot guy said they were bright and did me a slight adjustedment so i dont dazzle other drivers, and also said there pattern was fine, these were fitted to a coupe cant speak for all

    I'd say 50/55w is too much for reflector lenses (standard headlamps). 35w is more than enough imo.
