Like to drive fast, but think speeding tickets are expensive? That's nothing compared to the speeding tickets you'll get in the Netherlands and Switzerland!
Some countries are stricter than others when it comes to issuing speeding tickets.
In the Netherlands, the police can confiscate your vehicle on a permanent basis if you drive too fast. It was exactly what happened in this case, and it became a very expensive ride for the family of the driver.
It all happened to a 20-year-old, who drove 160 km/h on a stretch where the speed limit was 80 km/h. It was going to be an expensive ride.
The car was a Bugatti Veyron. The 20-year-old driver tested his dad's toy in high-speed when he was stopped by police. The Bugatti, which was confiscated, is said to be worth £1.5 million!
