    ECU reset

    Hi all

    Decided to weld my egr valve shut after cleaning an cleaning the inlet manafold, just wondering if theres a way of deleting it from the ecu or resetting the ecu to remove the fault thats now showing?

    Not 100% sure but have read that it can be done using Tech2 or you can take it to vauxhall and if it's a Z16SE engine you might get it done for free.

    Oh right ok, its a Y20DTH engine, where abouts is the emissions lamp? Will removing that remove the fault from the ECU?
