    breather pipe 1.7dti isuzu

    just a quick question.
ive noticed that the breather pipe has oil in it and wondering does this oil then follow down the air intake pipe and go into the turbo to keep it lubed up?
or has the turbo got its own method of keeping lubed up? if it needs it at all?

    thanks for any help

the breather pipe just vents crank case gasses and oil vapour back into the inlet tract to be burnt, the turbo does need oil but NOT like this it supplied by is own pipes to lube the turbo shaft
