I have a problem with my Z20LET.
The symptoms I have are:
-Consumption of antifreeze.
"Smoke from the exhaust to accelerate or stop at a traffic light while the car in its normal operating temperature of 90 degrees, cold does not have this symptom.
"After being circulated or the engine running for a while the car runs as if a cylinder fails ie 3 cylinders.
And the checks are made:
Change oil and oil filter.
Coolant leak I have not seen, I will continue looking.
Checking these days heating radiator.
There is oil in the radiator vessel.
There is no water on the dipstick.
Papilla was not found in any site.
The sleeves do not become too hard not **** a lot of pressure.
The temperature does not rise above 90 º C still requires power from the engine.
The thing is I'm about to fix the fault and leave the car as best as possible, but I doubt arises whether it would be better to buy an engine or Z20leh z20let.
"It really is worth the z20leh? Is it more reliable and more resistant mechanically speaking?.
Worth the screw oil restrictor in the turbo?.
I was wearing short time ago and I do not know if I have been detrimental to the engine or not.
Can you find engine blocks, cylinder heads rebuilt at a good price?, Where?.
Are there compression gauges ebay?.
Would help in something if I check the compression?, What values should I give?.
I in my former work I fixed which has not been a difference of more than 0.5 bar between the cylinders.
I have the possibility of having notebook with the OP-COM and could do some log's to help me find the problem.
And also video camera to record the necessary evidence.
Any idea of checking?
