A guy came to remap the 1.8 VVT 140 engine in my 59 plate SRi but he couldn't access it because it might be protected. Has anyone else had the same issue? If so how did they get around it without taking the ECU out? I don't want to touch the ECU if possible as you would have to break the security screws on it and that would void my warranty. Answers on a postcard please thanks in advance.
