Anyone with access to a pug 306

I don't know if it's illegal or not but in relation to my case, do the front tyres stick out from the arch any? I know there's many factors I guess, especially regarding mods, so I can only go off a standard assumption.

The only lad I know with one isn't in work today. So it'd be a help.

i wouldn't have thought so, unless the wheels are too wide or spacers used, and then it would be running stretch tyres as they would come out past the arch, therefore illegal

    Thanks for the feedback.

Now it's just a case of whether it's possible having his tyre marks all over my wheel with his story. If not, then that should HOPEFULLY help me a lot. Though I'm not getting my hopes up.

i know of someone who had a 306 mardi gras and they were wafer thin. so if it is standard alloys or steelies then no way will they sit outside the arch.

Its illegal for the tread to be sticking out the arch, so if the car was standard they wouldn't be.

    Cheers guys.

This is slightly encouraging (perhaps wrongly, i don't know).

The insurance company seemed to show little interest into the details of the damage & are more interested in how the damage occurred.

Bit of a surprise really, as the full details of damage can sometimes tell the story better than what people can.

I can't for the life of me think how i could get his tyre marks on my rear alloy if i'm supposedly turning into him, but this is his claim (i turned into him). The only way i can work out possible is if he's turned in to me.

Hopefully i can get in touch with the insurance & get hold of the womans email address & FWD her the pics of the damage & the pics i took today of the incident site.

The only way the tyre will stick out is if they are turning towards you or away from you.

BUT, if he's turning away from you the remaining rubber on your wheel will be a different pattern than if he drove into you. Not sure how they can work it out but I'd have thought him driving away from you would leave next to no rubber due to the wheels moving away from your car causing a limited contact.
