    Boot Install

Hi guys and gals, I've recently finished my boot build and am now looking to wire it in. I was wondering where most people feed the cables from the engine bay? I was thinking of drilling a hole in the bulkhead and running the cables through there, then feeding it down the plastic trim running down the car. Or am I being stupid, is there an easier way to feed the cables through from the engine bay into the car? And if so where do they come out in the car?

    Thanks

take out the little storage compartment on drivers side of car, you will see the bonnet pull cable going through the bulkhead, just to the left of that theres a spare grommet. use that one mate.

Drilling a hole is also fine, just make sure these's nothing on the other side! Behind the glove box is good! Also be sure to use a proper grommet and seal it up with silocone afterwards to stop water getting in!

I didn't have a spare grommet and I didn't feel like drilling through my bulkhead so I ran the cable through the air intake and out the blower behind the glovebox. Fiddly job for two people but its easily doable. Just dont force the flap on the blower too much or you'll break it.

Thanks for all the advice. I found the grommet luckily after removing the storage compartment, and then removed it and drilled a hole through it, worked brilliantly.
