    DAS-6 for me please. They are essientialy the same machine but the DAS is cheaper.

    I'll stick to my rotary though.

    i asked tim direct at cyc this question some time ago,and he said that the das-6 has a better motor,it's runs quieter than the g220 and the das-6 has a longer cable.and on top of all that he said it's cheaper!!no brainer unless you want a name and a hard carry case...

    If I was you lee I would go straight to rotary. Cheaper and they are not as hard as you think and you get quicker results

    As long as you practice enough with the rotary before attacking the car you'll be fine. You need to know where the limit is and what it feels like as rotaries generate more heat, but more cut aswell.

    And I'm not answering the poll for one very simple reason.

    the dirty little secret is that these 2 machines, the dodo juice machine, the old UDM and the Porter cable are all essentially the same, the internals are pretty much identical.
