    Pope - meh ?

Anyone overly fussed about the current visit ?

Is it costing the nation far too much money ?

Or is a priviledge to be visited ?

    Just passed my office...

Im not fussed either way. Yes it's costing lots of money but there are plenty of other things that I pay for out of my taxes that I'd rather not. I'm not a catholic, or any other religion but I don't see why it has to be such a negative thing. I think it's a sign of the times that people are so negative and uncaring about other people's beliefs to complain about it so strongly.

Not fussed over it. Its people beliefs and views that catholic church is going, and as the pope, head of catholism it is only fair for him to be here and speak to his followers and give lessons.
It is a lot of money for the UK to fork out, but like Sten has said.. there is alot of money being wasted elsewhere. Might be only chance for some people to see the Pope
Disclaimer - some of the above text may actually be sarcasm (believe it or not!)

i think the pope represents everything that is wrong with the church, people that are holier than though, at a different level to men

what happened to all men being equal

certainly pedo priests and clergy are at another level

being a christian I would more shake the hand of my vicar than bow down to the pope!
