    Question Electrically heated seats

    Hi, new here!

Just been tinkering about with the car and notice on the dash under the ciggy lighter on the reverse of a small piece of trim are the two electrical connecters for the electrically heated seats, looked under the seats and there are wires- presumably going to the heating elements.

Would I just need to get hold of the switches on the trim piece and swap it for the blank trim piece? Maybe put a fuse in somewhere?

    Is it that easy?

Had a look thru forums, seen things on seats/trim, but nothing that helped

    Cheers in anticipation

    Welcome mate

Unfortunatly your car won't be fitted with the heated elements so there's going to be alot more work to this than just adding a fuse and switches

the wires going to the seats are prob for airbags. if the car had heated seats they would of had the buttons.

yeah and if they are for air bags, dont go wiring a switch in hahaha,

    "whats that?"
"Its my air bag switch" lol

ive got calibra leather seats in my astra van and they have the heating elements in. IIRC you can buy heating elements for seats quite cheap, they just come as a square of fabric dont they?
