    astra mk4 interior light problem

I have a opel astra mk4. The problem is the following:

When I unlock the car from the remote key, the interior light switches on. When I open the rear and front doors of passengers the interior light switches on. But when I open the driver's door the interior light does not switch on. The interior light stays switched off also when I get out from the driver door, when I want to switch off the engine and close the car.

Can you please help me where the problem why the interior light stays off when I close and open the driver's door. I checked the switch of the driver's door with ohmmeter instrument and that was ok. This problem appeared when I had one problem with my battery. Is there any fuse to be checked?

I have to say something else. When I had this problem I watched another thing that goes wrong. Before the battery problem If I had left one opened window or 2 of the windows ( after the engine was off) I could put the key to the driver door and keep in the lock position, so during the key in the lock position except that car locks, the windows close automatically.

Now I must insert key to the engine to close the windows.
    Can you help me?

    thank you

    all

There are 2 circuits on the drivers door pin switch so make sure they are both ok. You probably saw 2 pins on the rear of the switch?

For the windows, do they work one touch? It sounds to me like they aren't anymore and just need programming back in by taking the window up and down and holding the switch at full bottom then full top

thank you very much for the reponse. I will check the circuits.

And about the windows: Are you telling me that it is a kind of procedure with the remote key this programming of windows or any programming with diagnostic cable?

    thank you again.

The window switches you use to operate the windows.

    There's a how-to on this somewhere
