    Shaky when idling-Mk4 1.6

    Hey folks,

I have a Mk4 Astra-G, 1.6 8v, and when the car is idling, say at the lights, the car sort of shakes a little, the rev's wobble slightly a little and generally it feels as though the car is feeling a little cold.

Sometimes it feels as though its going to turn off, but doesnt, it just has a shaky idle.

The rev's are sat at the right place and they dont go up and down severely, it just feels as though it gets a shake? Weird I know but its the best I can explain?

    Any ideas?

Air filter seems clean, I will have a look into the EGR valve. Where is it located on the 8v engine?

Mine does it when cold, never stalled on me though (touch wood) so doesn't bother me.
Don't think it would be my air filter or egr either as I've swapped them both, did it before and after.

If you're looking from the front of the car it's to the right, just behind the engine. Can't remember if you have to take the engine cover off to see it properly.
