Just thought I'd see if owners of the MK4 convertible would be interested in sets of rear headrests? Everyone knows that these are very rare and an option from vauxhall. Brand new from the dealer they are over £200 for a pair. Not sure what coverings they came in. The price probably being the main reason as to why most people don't have them.
I am looking into making these as close to the originals as possible. They would be hard foam inserts into the roll bar like the originals with a black satin rear face, and either black leather or faux leather padded headrests. The coverings could be customised for black, cream or other leather colours or any colour faux leather or even fabric for the basic interior models.
I am trying to produce these as near to the vauxhall ones as possible so they won't be just a cushion stuck to a block of foam. Price wise I would be looking at producing them for between £60-£80 hopefully depending on fabric choice. But if I can get the price down more I will.
I just thought I would find out if people would be interested in these if I made sets?
Any feedback good or bad is welcome... I'm still in the planning stage.
