    Decent car security?

What have people used for their car security? Im after ideas, not for anything massively expensive but I've read about a few vauxhalls being stolen or damaged (though my car isn't very desirable to pinch). Mainly after something to prevent windows being smashed in and prevent from being keyed etc. Just cause theres some right b******'s who live near me and think there hard by doing stuff like this and im not very liked by them as I grassed one of them up for bricking someones house. Thanks

Nothings going to stop anyone doing this, only warn them away (if windows are smashed) and to make other people aware

With your car being a MK5 it will be hard to fit one of the cheaper style alarms to because of the canbus wiring

I have a clifford 330 x2 on my mk5 with a dual zone proximity sensor which give warning chirps if someone gets too close! these a relitivley cheap! i'm lucky enough to work for a security specialist so get these cheap! As a rough guide, about 250 fully fitted! As Autosparks said though, no alarm will stop someone bricking your windows!
