    Best HID kit???

    im thinking of getting a HID kit for my astra, but ive noticed theres quite a few with different power and so on, which one is best for me to get which is still road legal and pass an m.o.t??
    its a mk4 astra 2001 cheers

    Unless you purchase headlamps designed for HID, along with headlight washers, then they are all illegal! However I believe they do pass an MOT in standard headlights.

    35w - 6000k is road legal upto 8000k is surposed to be road legal but more chance of gettin a pull off the plod anything over 8000k isnt legal at all

    That's not actually true. All HID conversion kits are illegal. HID lights are only legal in the correct headlamps with auto height adjustment and washers.

    look for a 35w h7r 4300k/6000k kit, if you're putting them in standard lights

    Different colour temperatures, should be able to find a color spectrum on the net, just search google.
    Ebay is the cheapest and best, dont forget to buy bulb adaptors so you dont have to mess about sawing like on the how to.
