    Wiring under ashtray?

I was looking at the how to fit a T/C switch guide and when i pulled out the bit of dash i already have 3 block connectors there 1 green 1 blue and 1 black (its an 2000, 1.8 astra coupe)

Green = 5 wires going to it
black = 5 wires going to it

i beleve these are for heates seats?

Blue = 3 wires running to it, not sure what this is for? is it possible the wiring is already there for the T/C?

    dose anybody know? thanks.

The blue with the 3 wires suggests yes but you'll probably find you only have the wiring behind the dash and not the engine bay

Easy way to find out is to buy a switch and try it but you'll probably have to but the wiring loom too and hard wire it all in

Im just curious i know the grey wire is only for the light in the switch, but do i just need to touch the 2 wires once to turn the TC off then touch them again to turn it back on or do i need to keep them connected?

(if i touch them the light comes on it goes off when i touch them again this indicates to me i only have to touch them not connect them i just want to make sure)

Yes they only need touching briefly to turn the tc off/on
